Hotel Shangri-La Surabaya is a 5-star hotel located in the center business and shopping city in the city of Surabaya, namely on Jl. Mayjen. Sungkono No. 120, Surabaya City, East Java. Hotel Shangri-La

Surabaya was designed with a traditional Javanese feel that is luxurious

and offers warmth Indonesian hospitality with 380 rooms.

I interned in marketing communications which focuses on communication to build & maintain hotel image. Marketing is the products being sold by hotels, such as rooms, restaurant outlets, MICE, & club activities. These products are marketed & communicated to guests visually.

My internship jobdesc at Marcomm was assisting in making materials that will be marketed, such as making designs digital printed, digital non-printed, video, animation and photos. Print media prepared by Shangri-La Surabaya, including billboards in front of hotels, booklets, e-booklets, posters, signage, room amenities and photobooth. Shangri-La Surabaya too using electronic media, such as radio, website media, Instagram Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, as well as collaborating with key opinion leaders (KOL).
